Pet Care Rates & Discounts
We list our rates directly on the website so customers can review boarding, daycare, grooming, and available discounts before booking.
Some rates are based on the selected accommodation or service. Grooming and bathing prices may vary depending on the pet’s size, coat condition, requested service, and time required.
Boarding Rates and Daily Stay Policies
Boarding visits are charged like a hotel. The pet is charged for the day of check-in, regardless of the time of check-in, and then charged for each day of occupancy after the date of check-in.
Any check-out after 12:00pm on the day of check-out counts as an additional day of boarding.
Dog Boarding Rates
- Indoor Suite: $55 per day
- Indoor/Outdoor Suite: $55 per day
- Private Luxury Suites: $75 per day
Cat Boarding Rates
- Cat Condo: $50 per day
Other Pet Boarding Rates
- Ferrets: $35 per day
- Rabbits: $35 per day
- Hamsters: $35 per day
- Birds: $35 per day
- Geriatric Fee: $15 per day
Mountaineer Pet Care Center does not currently accept reptiles.
Daycare Rates
- Dog Daycare: $35 per day
- Cat Daycare: $25 per day
Day Stay with Groom
- Day Stay with Groom, Dogs: $17.50
- Day Stay with Groom, Cats: $12.50
Geriatric Pet Fee
Geriatric pets that must be supported to walk or stand, or that must be repeatedly bathed due to elimination control difficulties, may be subject to this additional fee at management’s discretion. Fee: $15
Credit Card Surcharge
Credit card purchases are subject to a 3% surcharge
Grooming and Bathing Rates
Prices below are base prices, set for an average-coated pet of the size listed. Pets that require extensive scissoring, based on breed, will be higher than the base prices. Also, difficult and/or aggressive pets will be charged additional fees. Please ask our groomer for estimate prior to commencing services.
Canine
X-Small: Starting at $70
Small: Starting at $80
Medium: Starting at $90
Large: Starting at $100
X-Large or Large Longhaired: Starting at $120
All Doodles start at $120 and up due to styling and time
Feline
Bath: Starting at $85 and up
Grooming: Starting at $120 and up

Undercoat Removal *: $10 per 15 minutes (beyond first 15 minutes)

Day Stay with Groom, Cats *: $11.50

Available Discounts
Mountaineer Pet Care Center honors one discount per visit.
Current discounts include:
- Last Day of Boarding: No charge for the last day only if checked out before 12:00pm
- Long-Term Stay: 15% off the entire stay on the 8th day of stay
- Multi-Pet: 10% off the entire stay
- Senior Discount: 10% off the entire stay for pets owned by a senior age 65 or older
- Military & Police Discount: 10% off services
